The Co-Group is a growing charitable, not-for-profit (NFP) organisation which offers opportunities for Support Workers to provide care for clients that include in-home supports, group homes, and day centres in the disability and aged care industry. The Co-Group employs a multicultural and diverse workforce including visa holders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assistance with Personal care is required.
- Going out for social engagement, activities and attending appointments (own vehicle essential)
- Assistance with household tasks (may include cleaning, meal preparation) if required.
- Assistance with medications if required.
- Good availability from Monday to Friday
- Client is mainly in aged care and cleaning duties required
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in the role, you will require the following:
- A genuine passionate person to work alongside participants/the elderly and to make a positive and lasting difference in their lives
- Professional or lived experience of the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors
- Experience of complex behaviours and behaviour support methods (a bonus - not a requirement)
- Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Qualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field preferred
- HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medication
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current Working with Children check
- Current Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle
- The right to work in Australia
