We’re partnering with one of the people we support, Rob, to help him find 2 great Support Workers.

What I’m Looking For?
Support Worker – Social Connector (Casual)
This casual position has an emphasis on social connection and capacity building, supporting me to build friendships and relationships, develop skills and enjoy genuine participation in the community.
In this role, you will:
- Get to know me really well and understand my communication style to be an effective and reliable communication partner
- Support me with decision making and self determination
- Assist me to participate and contribute to the community in ways that are meaningful and interesting
- Explore social opportunities and assist me to make friends and deepen relationships
- Assist me to build on my skills, knowledge and creativity in my business, filmmaking and other passions
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of Includa, particularly record-keeping, incident reporting and workplace health and safety.
- Communicate with others in the team through established channels.
- Provide ‘hands on’ support including personal care support
- Uphold my human rights at all times
- Be available for on-call element of role 1-2 days per week
What you’ll have:

- Excellent listening skills
- Computer and social media skills
- NDIS Workers Check
- First Aid Certificate
- Full drivers licence and Comprehensive Car Insurance
- Current Working with Children Check
- COVID 19 Vaccination
