About the opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Home Care Support Worker to assist our participants to live their best life in their own homes and in the community. The successful candidate will have experience with a variety of support tasks including personal care, community care and social support. They will share our commitment to providing quality, person-centred support. Our available shifts can be long or short and we have day, evening and overnight shifts on offer for the right worker.

You're a passionate, empathetic, and caring individual who is looking to make an invaluable positive impact on the lives of others in their own homes. You relish a challenge and new experience. You're calm, collected, and resilient in the face of adversity and are looking to carry these qualities with you to the front line to help those in need. You are an independent, proactive thinker and worker but are also able to follow instructions and our protocols to provide high quality service for our participants.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services or related fields (an advantage but not mandatory) or relevant experience
Manual handling training desirable
Rights to work in Australia
Willing to work flexible hours on a fortnightly roster
Availability and willingness to use personal smartphone (iPhone or Android)
A current valid Driver's License and a registered, insured vehicle
Satisfactory Police Records Check [less than 12 months old]
NSW Working with Children Check
Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
NDIS Workers Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
