We are looking for a passionate and patient Support Worker to join the Kangaroo Island team where they can support 3 wonderful participants.
About Us
We seeking a Support Worker with an energetic and positive attitude, who can be fun, vibrant, and provide independence. We want someone who is willing to provide personal care and who is open minded to new and different experiences. We're wanting someone who has a person-centred approach and can listen carefully to their needs.
We love being involved in the community, going out for lunch and cooking. In our spare time, we enjoy talking to our friends, listening to music and going out for walks.

Key responsibilities:
- Assist with assisted daily living tasks.
- Personal care
- In home activities such as cooking and arts
- Supporting us to engage with the community
- Support us to achieve our goals to reach our potential in all facets of our life.
- Support our life skill development through proper implementation of established plans and programs to support the achievement of goal outcomes for us.
- Actively engage in person centred active support.
- Maintain accurate records.
- NDIS Worker Screening or DHS Disability related check
- Current Driver's Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or other relevant qualification
To get you started, we ensure that you are feeling comfortable and confident in the role. You will be offered full training by CLO which includes buddy shifts with my core team.
