The redevelopment delivered new beds, improved services in the rehabilitation unit, as well as a new 24-hour emergency department, maternity unit and special care nursery. Services available include intensive care, coronary care, obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedic surgery, general surgery, vascular surgery, emergency medicine, pharmacy, medical imaging, pathology and comprehensive mental health services. Allied Health services include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, speech therapy, psychology and social work.The LocationNorth of Brisbane and less than an hours' flight, this facility is situated on QLD's beautiful coast line and on the door step of an internationally recognized natural wonder boasting some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. This location is unique as it is one of the major vantage points from which to see whale migration in Australia.
