Legal Assistant

We are partnering with a boutique, highly experienced personal injury law practice with a clear mission – to help restore the lives of our clients after an injury. This firm was founded by a down to earth legal professional who has over 18 years’ experience as both a barrister and as a solicitor.THE ROLE
This role will see you reporting closely to an associate in the team where you will provide administrative support. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Communicate with clients in person, over the phone, and via email;
• Draft, proofread, and file or send legal documents;
• Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining lawyers’ calendars, scheduling appointments, making photocopies, and compiling complex documentation; and
• Create and maintain case files.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role you will have proven experience as a Legal Assistant with experience in personal injury (Workcover). In addition to this you will have:

• High attention to detail;
• Proactive and highly organised;
• Excellent communication skills
