We prioritise innovation and embrace advances technology to deliver high quality Rail, Road and Built Environment services to clients across Western Australia.About the role:Our reputation and dedication to excellence in the field of surveying has allowed us to build and maintain exceptionally strong relationships with Western Australia's biggest rail, mining and construction companies and continues to see us being engaged on more and more projects across the state.The Survey Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all survey-related activities within our projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, client engagement, and excellent organisational abilities, and will have you working primarily in the Pilbara region on an 8:6 roster (subject to project requirements).About you:As the Survey Manager you will be expected to demonstrate the following:
  • Client/Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Rail Industry & Survey Knowledge: Utilise in-depth knowledge of the rail and survey industry to inform survey strategies and project planning.
  • Management & Team Leadership Experience: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Surveyors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Organisational and Time Management Skills: Exhibit exceptional organisational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • HSE Systems Understanding: Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) systems.
  • Compliance and Audit Understanding: Oversee compliance with industry standards and conduct audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • RTIO Systems Understanding: Experience with Rio Tinto Iron Ore systems will be highly desirable.
