Our client is a surveying company and has been in operation for over 30 years. They operate throughout Australia and are an experienced surveying outfit who specialise in pipeline, construction, infrastructure, and engineering surveys. The company has an excellent reputation for project delivery and are involved in some of Australia’s top projects.
About the Role: We are seeking a Survey Manager to be office-based and manage the day-to-day survey department of our Perth/WA operations. Reporting to the Area Manager you will oversee the management of the survey team and survey projects as well as expand and develop the client base.
Duties:
- Report to the Area Manager
- Be Perth office-based
- Lead the Survey team
- Develop new and existing clients
- Assist with winning future projects
- Support, guide, mentor & develop the team
- Be the point of contact for the Survey teams
- Assist with the recruitment of Surveyors
- Understand field equipment & software
- Plan the workloads,
- Report writing
- Assisting with uploading data & calculations
About the Requirements:
- Formal Surveying qualifications
- Have a proven track record of surveying and/or management
- Would suit an existing Survey Manager or someone wishing to step up
- Be capable of planning workloads
- Be able to develop the survey team
- Knowledge of surveying equipment and software packages
- Strong communication and leadership skills
