About the role;
As part of our commitment to being a sustainable organisation, this role will be pivotal to the delivery of our Board-Approved Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Strategy.
The Sustainability Analyst is responsible for effectively collating, analysing and reporting on P&N Group‘s sustainability impact in line with the pillars of the ESG Strategy: Financial Capability & Empowerment, Governance & Ethical Operation, Climate Response & Diversity & Inclusion. This role is also responsible for co-ordinating sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement projects including engagement with key Executive stakeholders / owners to drive delivery.
Working as part of an inclusive and collaborative team your key responsibilities will include:
- Implement and mature processes to collect, analyse, measure and monitor sustainability data in line with regulatory / strategic requirements
- Track the performance and impact of the Group’s ESG Strategy including the production of regular Board and Executive reporting
- Keep abreast of new sustainability reporting and/or accounting standards and work with Manager Sustainability to ensure the business meets new requirements
- Explore and review opportunities for improvement across the business related to sustainability and engage relevant stakeholders to facilitate change
- Support the delivery of campaigns and knowledge sharing relating to ESG, including training, communications campaigns, and participation in relevant working groups eg. Sustainability Committee, Reporting Working Group
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver relevant Sustainability reporting for the Annual Report
- Monitor progress against Group Climate Action Plan including engagement with Executive Owners and tracking and monitoring of progress and required updates
What will you bring?
- Ability to manipulate data to be accessible and understood by a wide range of stakeholders, and to drive decisions and actions
- Experiencing working with and partnering with different stakeholders to deliver on project deliverables
- Experience in event or campaign coordination from ideation to delivery including project planning
- Basic understanding of ESG research, best practice standards, and different standards and regulatory bodies
- Ability to research, analyse and synthesise information to inform best practice principles
- Ability to meet project deadlines, and coordinate campaigns/ initiatives in a timely manner
- Advanced MS Office suite including Project, and SharePoint
- Hands-on skills for Mural/Miro and Tech One desirable
