Job Description
The Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre is looking for an experienced customer focused individual, with strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous improvement to take up the role of Swim School Coordinator.
Reporting to the Commercial Services Coordinator, this role will see you responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Develop, plan and implement swim programs; including meeting Swim2survive targets and objectives.
  • Provide direction, supervise, train and develop Swim School staff;
  • Responsible for providing input to budgets and reporting of records to achieve optimal service delivery
  • Promotion of Swim School to ensure longevity and growth.
Desired Skills and Experience
Demonstrated experience working in the aquatics or recreations industry, A well developed knowledge of business management practices, including input of budgets, leading and supervising teams and knowledge of instructing participants in swimming and water safety.
The successful candidate will also need,
  • Austswim Certificate or equivalent.
  • Provide First Aid.
  • Bronze Medallion / Swimming Teacher Rescue Award.
  • Working with Children Check.
