The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the provision of prompt resolution of BAU and maintenance-related tasks across various platforms and technologies.
Along with the above, this role will:
- Manage internal infrastructure including VMWare, SANs, routers, switches, firewalls, and security updates.
- Oversee Microsoft O365, Azure, and Exchange.
- Administer Windows Servers (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, IIS, Group Policy, Security Permissions).
- Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies (Veeam preferred).
- Provide intermediate SQL support.
- Configure and manage firewalls (Palo-Alto preferred).
- Handle networking, configuration, and support for switching and routing equipment.
- Vmware,OKTA (or other IAM) support.
- Enhance system monitoring and ensure documentation is up-to-date.
- Contribute to IT projects as needed.
You will be considered if you can demonstrate...
- Proven experience as a System Administrator managing complex infrastructure.
- Highly skilled in the management of Windows Servers, O365, Azure and Exchange.
- Strong Networking foundational knowledge and experience. (Ruckus desirable)
- Ability to uphold the environment security, addressing risks proactively through monitoring and incident response.
- Linux OS
- Experience working in an ITIL environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Certifications such as ITIL, MCSE and MCITP highly desirable.
