AddressMy client is a leading global software and services company. Due to continued growth they are looking for a SAS System Administrator to join their team on a 12 month contract.
As the successful SAS System Administrator you will be responsible for working with clients to help with the configuration, performance and reliability of their SAS solutions.
Position responsibilities:
- Perform daily administration activities for all servers including analysing, installing, modifying Operating Systems, storage, applications, backups and account administration
- Assist and lead with the planning (implementation and ongoing usage/forecasting/trending), design, setup and troubleshooting of Operating Systems, hardware and software
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, or performance problems
- Develop documentation for system support tasks
- Extensive experience with SAS v9
- Experience with SAS Viya will be highly regarded
- 5+ years of experience working with Linux and Unix OS
- Support experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare preferred)
- Experience with infrastructure including Servers, Network, Storage and Backup Services
- Experience in scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell, Perl, etc)
- Australian Citizenship
