About the role: 

As a Senior Technology Business Consultant, you’ll contribute to a critical component of our success. While working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative, new solutions that meet their needs and help advance the way the world pays, banks and invests.  

What you will be doing: 

• Implementation of the FIS Asset Finance product at client sites
• Assessing client needs and setting up the system to satisfy, identifying gaps, steering course to implement, writing or specifying crystal reports/spreadsheets to satisfy requirements
• Overseeing and participating in data take-on, conversion and reconciliation
• Ensure FIS AF processes satisfy the entire contract lifecycle
• Managing all aspects of the client’s business from application through to contract management accounting, collection, asset management etc
• Configures system to client needs
• Writes test plans and test cases to ensure enhancements made to applications meet client needs and application integrity is maintained.
• Conducts a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness and acceptance tests. Conducts tests using client data to be certain client needs will be met.
• Investigates issues identified during User Acceptance Test (UAT)
• Consults directly with clients and may need travel to client site.
• Acts as team leader for technical aspects of consulting projects leading sub-plans or small projects. May mentor, guide, advise and/or check work of less experienced business systems analysts and technology business consultants.

What you will need:   

• At least 10 years of experience in package software implementation for banking / capital markets.
• Must have extensive knowledge in Leasing and Lending. 
• Experience in functional and consultancy, problem solving and solutioning skills. Must have extensive background with business requirement gathering and analysis skills.
• Experience in functional and technical consultancy
• Excellent customer service communication skills
• Be able to manage critical situations and steer a course for a   positive outcome
• The ability to manage client expectations; deliver news and plans to clients in such a way that ensures client support, controlling any given situation
• To be a working consultant - someone who rolls up their sleeves and gets the job done as opposed to overseeing the project

Added bonus if you have: 

• Asset Finance software implementation experience 
• Experience working with implementing solutions for similar organizations such as Solifi, ALFA, Netsol and Sofico
• Working or consulting for likely clients for AAF in the Leasing and Lending sector
