This organization is an ASX-listed mining company with an impressive size in South Australia and strong financial growth. In this role you will need to travel once a month to their mine via a company charter flight or a short flight from Adelaide airport. On the week that you would need to travel, it would be Monday to Thursday with an extra day off on Friday as off-in-lieu. The rest of the 3 weeks will be standard office hours from Mondays to Fridays at their office in Adelaide CBD.
about the job
In this role you will manage and maintain their new ERP Pronto financial and other key business systems including reporting and updating Pronto in line with changes in company structure. You will need to identify and drive continuous improvement strategies through the Pronto system to streamline and automate where possible i.e. accounts payable automation. You will manage Pronto system improvements including implementation of new modules and systems and enhancements, upgrades and customisations to existing systems. In addition, you will assist stakeholders to identify and execute business system improvement opportunities including performing business case justification, identifying objectives and analyzing options, benefits, risks and opportunities. You will also foster collaborative relationships across the business to drive continuous improvement.

This role reports to the Finance and Commercial Manager and you will work independently but in a cross-collaborative manner across the operations team and other departments.
skills & requirements for the role
You must be exceptional in your knowledge of Pronto software, with at least 3 years' relevant experience in a prior Systems Accountant role. You must possess a CPA, CA or accounting Degree of a similar capacity. The ideal incumbent is able to form really good relationships with people on site, personable, always ready to come up with solutions, and always patient with people on site who are not experts and having to train them in Pronto.
