The Senior Systems Accountant will report to the CFO and provide support with the design, development and implementation of business systems.
Other key areas of responsibility will include
- Analysing business processes, procedures and work practices to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Reviewing systems performance, identifying and correcting system issues
- Project Manage system upgrades and new system / module implementation in conjunction with the IT department
- Ensure the organisation’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and other business systems are maintained, regularly upgraded and optimised for best performance.
- Working with the IT team to coordinate delivery schedules for systems development
Key business improvement projects will add variety and challenges to the role.
Candidates with demonstrated capability in a Systems Accountant or Business Systems role will receive serious consideration.
The role requires the ability to engage with and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including managers across the business and IT Vendors.
Project management experience is considered necessary as there will be requirement to take the lead in coordinating either entire projects or parts of projects that impact the various business systems ie finance systems, payroll, billings etc.
A degree in Accounting or a Business related degree is considered essential
