Systems Administrator

*Initial Fixed Term Contract with a chance to go permanent after 3 months*

S2M have partnered with a classic Australian household name which we have all known and loved for generations, this particular organisation are on the hunt for a talented Systems Administrator to support their needs on a day to day basis and assist on projects.

This national support role is an opportunity for you to leverage your broad technology background and passion for helping others. Your focus will be on ensuring an effective and efficient technology environment for the organisation, working closely with stakeholders to support the use and ongoing development of enterprise systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing second and third-tier assistance while upholding top-notch customer service
• Bolstering the functionality of vital national business systems
• Cultivating and upholding partnerships with service owners and vendors
• Maintaining availability for addressing heightened technology predicaments as per pre-arranged schedules
• Adhering to protocols for handling incidents
• Managing IT assets effectively  

What you’ll need:

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator
• Above and beyond customer service skills
• Strong expertise in administering the M365 stack including AD and AAD
• Demonstrated experience in windows server administration.
• Experience administering network hardware, including routers and switches
• Experience maintaining and configuring operations systems, applications, networks and business tools.
• Strong experience using Azure Automation and PowerShell
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
• Comfortable working in the office more often than not as this is supporting multiple sites
