Working for this government body as the People Systems Administrator/Lead you be responsible for maintaining all system modules within the Human Resources Information System (Aurion), including but not limited to ongoing system maintenance, modifications, issue resolution, and reporting.
You will act as a Systems Administrator, identifying, developing and implementing process improvement opportunities and providing advice and guidance to stakeholders.
Key activities
- Lead HRIS implementation and enhancements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, priorisiting user friendly digital experiences for employees.
- Serve as the primary liaison between PC&E stakeholders, IT and vendors during system implementation
- Lead knowledge sharing and feedback discussions to inform future system improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and user groups to evaluate new HRIS technologies and enhancements that may be beneficial to the business
- Integrate new and approved HRIS technologies into existing PC&E processes and oversee vendor management procedures
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support the HRIS projects and initiatives
- Maintain all system modules within the HRIS, including but not limited to ongoing system maintenance, modifications, issue resolution, and reporting
- Undertake HRIS testing strategies, maintaining quality assurance and testing documentation, processes and templates to ensure functionality meets regulatory requirements
Skills and experience
- Extensive demonstrated experience in configuring and administration of HRIS including leading system implementations and enhancements
- Well-developed knowledge of HR, best practice in HR systems and compliance requirements
- People experience orientated with demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing continuous improvement and process excellence
- An analytical mind with the ability to simplify and solve complex issues and problems
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and sound written and verbal communication skills (including an ability translate business requirements into technical specifications)
- Highly developed stakeholder management skills: adept at building, maintaining and influencing relationships at all levels
