The Role
We are looking for someone with great communication skills who is passionate about growing & maintaining relationships.
- Your primary role is to deploy, secure & support infrastructure solutions, including supporting the infrastructure for high volume trade systems & SAAS applications.
- This role is part of a team that develops, implements and operates networks and servers, Cloud & Data centre, responds to alarms, incidents & service requests, & proactively monitors & manages system stability, capacity and performance.
- You will be responsible for maintaining & proactively improving the performance, efficiency & integrity of the organisations infrastructure & systems. Scoping & implementing infrastructure projects, receiving / resolving escalated issues, researching & implementing new technologies.
Your Experience will include:
- 3+ years’ experience in IT Operations or Infrastructure role.
- Windows server administration for large environments, with extensive experience in 2016+ systems administration.
- Active Directory, Group Policy, Sites and Services and related tooling.
- Automation (even in your own spare time!) - PowerShell, git, ADO, bitbucket, WMI, Ansible, WSUS, Scripting. FULL training offered
- Exposure to Cloud solutions including Office 365, GCP, AWS and related technologies, e.g. Entra ID.
- Exposure to general networking
Advantageous Skills:
- Linux
- Backup and DR solutions, with a focus on VEEAM
- Virtualization i.e. VMware vCenter, vSphere and related technologies.
- Scripting
- IIS & SQL
- Monitoring Systems - Availability monitoring, e.g. PRTG, Dynatrace.
