We have an opportunity on our engagement with the SEA2273 subprogram of the Warfighting Networks and Applications Support Organisation (WSO) for Department of Defence. As part of the Fleet Information Environment (FIE) Modernisation program, you'll be part of a team that will deliver a cyber-hardened, integrated, sustainable , and networked mission system that enable the Royal Australian Navy to 'fight and win at sea'. This role will focus on managing and supporting on-premises messaging infrastructure in a multi-forest distributed environment.
To succeed in this endeavour, you will:
- Integrate complex ICT infrastructure software and applications with messaging systems.
- Proactively maintain, patch and upgrade distributed enterprise.
- Develop and build defect remediation.
- Analyse, log, track, and resolve complex issues pertaining to messaging.
- Create and peer review Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs), build guides and related artefacts.
- Maintain and assist trainers with the training suite in order to deliver high quality training for ship staff for Minerva courses.
- Provide user management for Minerva ITS admins/Business App admins and standard users on Core system.
- Support level 1, 2 and 3 for all Minerva capable ships as well as DICT partner support.

Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:
- Hold current Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) security clearance or higher and comply with ITAR requirements
- Highly developed knowledge of Exchange and AD administration, Message Transfer Agents, Skype administration
- Available to carry phone and be on an on-call roster
- Ideally have familiarity with Nutanix, Fortinet family of software, Cisco networking, Citrix, Microsoft products, Titus, Liquidware, Ivanti, Red Hat, Tanium
- Previous Minerva experience or experience with ADF CIS reporting processes and procedures is advantageous.
