About the role

Reporting directly to the Senior Systems Administrator within the Information Systems team, you will assist with the day-to-day support, maintenance, development, review, and implementation of Council’s core infrastructure.
Working with a diverse range of business units, across several remote sites, you will provide high-level technical support to council staff, councillors, and the public, on core council infrastructure including desktops, servers, network, applications, and general technology.
About you
- Client-driven team player with experience in 4+ years of Systems Administration experience including at least 3 years in Desktop Support (SOE) – basically a jack of all trades!
- Demonstrated experience in the support, administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of O365, network infrastructure devices and virtual server environments and managing Firewalls.
- Project management skills and high level SCCM experience, with well-developed skills in designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Windows Server Infrastructure.
- Ideally you will have experience with Commvault (Backups), Mimecast (Emails) and Sophos (AV and Firewall) and Air Watch (MDM) with exposure to Intune a bonus.
- Effective communication and people skills and the ability to organize your time.
- Ideally have Microsoft certifications; TechOne and ECM CiAnywhere exposure; and understand the business of local government.
- Ideally cyber security exposure will also be beneficial in this role.
