The opportunity
The Systems Analyst in the Digital Services division oversees platforms, applications, and system maintenance. Their primary focus is PayGlobal, but they also support other systems as needed. Their responsibilities include administration, technical support, and ensuring excellence for users across the Silver Chain group.
Key responsibilities
The major accountabilities of this position are below, see position Description for more details:
- Configure and maintain the PayGlobal and other systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate PayGlobal with other systems and applications
- Develop and execute test plans
- Provide training and ongoing support to end-users on system functionality, troubleshooting issues, and optimising system usage.
- Compliance and Regulation
- Generate custom reports and analyse payroll data
- Continuous Improvement
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures
About you
Specific qualification requirements that are necessary for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience of working with PayGlobal or similar payroll systems in a Systems Analyst role
- Experience with the system/systems support through the whole application lifecycle
- understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in system configuration, integration, and testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused attitude
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of SQL databases.
- Knowledge of, or qualification in ITIL.
Other experience or skill requirements for the role:
- Certification in PayGlobal or related systems (desired, but not required).
- PHP highly desirable
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and changing requirements
Under the Aged Care act 1997, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance prior to commencement.
