SalaryMyLeave (Construction Industry Long Service Leave Payments Board) is a Western Australian statutory authority responsible for providing financially sustainable portable long service leave for around 131,000 construction workers.MyLeave is currently undertaking an ambitious digital transformation program, with a key outcome being the replacement of legacy core CRM and records management systems and digitisation of manual processes. It is expected that the new Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Microsoft SharePoint platforms will be commissioned in 2024. An additional focus is to maintain and improve our cyber security mitigation and prevention strategies.Position ProfileWe are seeking applications from enthusiastic and dynamic individuals for the position of Systems Engineer. The System Engineer manages and supports the operational day to day activities of the various technologies and systems within MyLeave which are essential for the smooth running of all services. The role also leads activities to investigate, optimise and continuously improve all operations of the various technologies and systems used by MyLeave, with a focus on supporting business activities and providing solutions to business challenges. Finally, the position is responsible for developing and implementing cloud and hybrid services security methodology, securing applications and infrastructure and monitoring and reporting information security issues in accordance with established governance frameworks.The position needs strong technical knowledge across Systems Engineering and administration, solutions architecture, and cyber security. A continual business improvement focus is a must. The successful applicant should have a well-developed work ethic as well as a strong customer and teamwork focus including a desire to help internal and external stakeholders with good communication skills and a commitment to ongoing business improvement.The successful applicant will have: * Demonstrated technical skills and experience in design, implementation and management of a broad range of modern enterprise technologies and business systems (cloud-based and hybrid services).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure with demonstrated experience in the management and administration of Microsoft 365 platforms, applications and tools.
- Working knowledge of current cyber security concepts and best practice implementations and their application to cloud & hybrid infrastructure, user access, applications and data.
- Demonstrated ability to research, architect and apply innovative technologies and business systems to support, optimise and continually improve ICT operations in an enterprise hybrid-cloud environment.
- Substantial written and oral interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships to deliver outcomes.
