Systems Engineer Field Specialist

Have at least a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance before commencement; and
Have the ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) as required and requested by the Commonwealth.

The Systems Engineer Field Specialist role will provide specialist knowledge and capacity to:

• The delivery and support of End User Computing and Desktop Virtualisation components of the BICES platform;
• Contributes to the writing of detailed designs and Technical Implementation Instructions;
• Work closely with the Lead Solution Architect and Change Manager to progress technical changes though the change process;
• Assist the Business analyst and Technical Writer to complete and/or review technical support artefacts and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); and
• Any other tasks reasonably requested by the program.

Desirable Criteria
A deep understanding of the following:

• Microsoft Products including ECM; Windows; SQL; Exchange; Active Directory
• Monitoring and System Management
• Infrastructure
• Storage
• Computer Hardware
• Have a thorough working knowledge of the Pegasus support processes as they apply to FVEY support and sustainment activities.
• Have a thorough working knowledge of the transition processes to enable effective engagement with stakeholders’ support towers for the progression of the transition activities.
