About you:
To be successful in securing this position, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution, and/or equivalent relevant experience (preferably within the defence industry)
- Significant experience in the design, development, integration, test and support of military systems, including utilisation of COTS components
- Substantial experience in the usage of the DOORS requirements management tool.
- Substantial experience in the processes for integration and formal test of electrical/electronic systems in a lab environment
- Substantial experience with the Windchill Configuration Management tool
- Previous work experience with HF Programs
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with personnel at different levels and from various disciplines
- Experience in the Australian Defence Industry
- Current or re-instatable NV1 Australian Defence Security Clearance

Your responsibilities will include:
This is an excellent opportunity to join Lockheed Martin's Systems Engineering function and work on High Frequency programs. Primarily, you will provide the provisioning of HF Program expertise to support the development of Systems Engineering artefacts supporting the degree of compliance to the contracted technical specifications.
Reporting to the Engineering Lead, you will execute the following activities:
- Support the development and maintenance of HF program system architectural models and external interface definitions
- Undertake requirements analysis processes and techniques with a focus on the HF Program products
- Support the resolution of all cross-team requirements issues
- Provide domain expertise to the HF Program project as well as the larger technical engineering community
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), within LM and our design partners, as required, to support project activities and reviews
- Support identification and documentation of key system interfaces in support of interface management
- Support review and approval of vendor specifications and design data
- Support the provision of vendor guidance and support as they deliver their design and products
- Support development of requirements, configuration and acceptance methodology for the HF Program integration and test environment
- Contribute to an effective organisation culture which recognises and values both individual and team contributions to organisational effectiveness.
