About Our Client:
Our client, located in Goondoon Street, Gladstone, is an is a commercial Statutory Authority responsible to the Minister for Regional Development and Manufacturing and Minister for Water. We are currently recruiting a Systems Officer – People & Culture. Ongoing Day Shift Monday to Friday for a term of 18 months.
About the Role:
- Ongoing work – Monday to Friday
- Day Shift, 7am starts
- Rate will be discussed if interviewed.

- Provide EA support to the General Manager of People and Culture.
- Provide admin support services and undertake administrative support activities (including word processing, data entry, general administrative functions and using a range of software packages to an advanced level).
- Coordinate monthly reconciliation of team member Corporate Credit Cards.
- Aid in the monitoring, maintenance and reporting of assigned procurement, expenditure, and budget activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of correspondence, minutes, briefs, submissions, reports, updates, or statements.
- Generate and distribute routine metrics
- Certificate in Business (Office Administration) or Diploma in Business Administration (Desirable)
- Proficiency in office administration
- Demonstrated high-level expertise in a variety of computer software products in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel formulars & writing, PowerPoint, Outlook Calendar Management), Office 365, SharePoint.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team in a professional and positive manner, with a “can do attitude’, with ability to be tactful and discrete when dealing with matters of a sensitive nature.
- Well-developed organisational skills, including the ability to manage and prioritise a wide range of tasks with minimal supervision.
- Reporting experience.
- Attention to Detail.
- Experience in records management.
- Able to preform in a fast paced environment.
- Contracts & procurements: monthly reconciliation on credit cards, tracking of budgets, purchasing, reporting financially.
- Payroll: checking payroll for stakeholders and submitting funds to the bank.
