About the role
- Oversee, lead and manage the System Safety Program and Technical Services-Workplace Health and Safety Programs.
- Maintain the System Safety Program Plan (SSPP) and Technical Services-Workplace Health and Safety Programs (TS-WHSPP).
- Provided mentoring, advice, and leadership to individuals (Product/Platform) System Safety Practitioners.
- Assure the Safety Cases for each product/platform managed by the organisation.
- Maintain oversight of MU produced hazard logs, SSRA’s, SAR’s.
- Provide SME support to SSRA/SAR processes (IAW the AASB SSPP).
- Manage the training requirements WRT System Safety and Workplace Health and Safety (Technical Services) for staff.
- Attend safety conferences/boards and conduct presentations.
- Prior experience working within a similar role.
- Systems Safety Engineering Level 3.
- Regulatory Compliance.
- Aviation experience essential.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to build successful working relationships with key stakeholders.
