Form of workWe are currently looking for security cleared (NV1 or higher) Systems Safety Engineers to join our team on a permanent basis. No two days are the same in these roles which are essential to the success of the project. We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier.
This role will see you take on a range of tasks including developing Safety Engineering documentation, conducting mandated system reviews, drafting Safety Engineering reports and development of safety case reports to support Defence UAS platforms.

What will I be doing day to day?
- Review and edit Safety Engineering documentation
- Provide Systems Safety advice across UAS
- Review of technical specifications and documentation relating to system safety
- Work with a wide range of stakeholders and build meaningful and lasting professional relationships
- Contribute to project meetings and working groups
- Review system Safety Engineering development activities
What sort of skills do I need?
- Experience within a Defence Aerospace environment
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- Working knowledge of System Safety and Defence/CASG Policies
- Experience in the development and management of technical systems and engineering artefacts
- Strong communication skills
- Process orientated with good attention to detail
- Hold a minimum NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen)
