Primary Purpose
Based in Sydney Australia, the Systems Support Administrator is a pivotal role designed to provide comprehensive technical support, systems administration, and training to staff globally across various systems and platforms. This role bridges the gap between different departments and systems advancements, ensuring smooth integration and effective implementation of updates and enhancements throughout the company. With a collaborative approach, the Systems Support Administrator engages with various departments to address a wide spectrum of tasks on a day-to-day basis, from overseeing promotions and administering systems to delivering hands-on training and ensuring quality control while actively contributing to system development.
Key responsibilities
Facilitating seamless onboarding for new employees, creating comprehensive user guides, and conducting regular training sessions and workshops to enhance staff understanding of relevant software, hardware, and system processes. The Systems Support Administrator collaborates with department heads to identify specific training needs and areas for skill enhancement within their teams, customizing training plans accordingly. They are also responsible for creating and maintaining training materials and providing one-on-one coaching and support to staff members encountering challenges or seeking to further their understanding of systems, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What you'll do day to day
Administration duties encompass responding promptly to user queries and System support requests, troubleshooting system issues to provide timely resolution, and managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various platforms and systems. The role also includes administering and maintaining portal platforms and SharePoint sites, ensuring reliability, security, and user engagement. Additionally, the Systems Support Administrator is involved in systems' projects, managing database infrastructure, monitoring hardware devices, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. This position requires a proactive and intuitive approach, covering multiple time zones and occasionally working outside of standard operating hours to meet the global support needs of the company.
Your Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, coupled with proven experience in system support roles, particularly in SharePoint administration and Salesforce support. You should have over three years of experience as a Salesforce end-user and at least one year as a Salesforce administrator, with hands-on knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially SharePoint and OneDrive, and expertise in data management, logic-based processes, and general software practices are essential. A background in the travel industry and familiarity with product loading processes and promotion management are highly desirable. The candidate should maintain composure under pressure, prioritize tasks efficiently, and possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and quality control.
