About the Role:
TAE Facilitator will be responsible for training and assessing Certificate IV in Training and Assessment for SLSQ members and corporate clients in a variety of TAE courses throughout Queensland and other relevant states. Please note this role requires travel throughout QLD, working weekends and afterhours.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise and deliver both face-to-face and virtual training sessions through Teams & Zoom after hours and on weekends.
- Travel to other SLS states.
- Plan, organise and deliver one-on-one coaching sessions through Teams, Zoom or phone.
- Assess all TAE courses for SLSQ and other SLS states.
- Contexutalise course for SLS needs and requirements.
- Contribute to the design and develop of learning resources and assessments.
- Update and re-design within Learning Management System.
- Engage with SLSQ Chief Training Officers and mentors.
- Attend designated moderations.
- Attend quarterly validations.
- Update training and assessment strategies to reflect cohort.
- Monitor pre-enrolments, enrolments and certification of courses.
- Comply with RTO policy and procedures.
- Comply with Standards for RTO 2015 and other RTO relevant legislation.
- Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Network, build and maintain strong relationships with peak bodies and new markets.
- Keep up-to-date with relevant industry standards, mandatory qualifications and other educational developments in the VET and corporate sectors.
Required Education & Experience:
Essential
- Working with Children Blue Card.
- National Police Record Check.
- Proof of Identity Check (points of identification and working rights).
- Demonstrable commitment to empowering and respecting children and young people.
- Basic understanding of child safety and the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
- TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor or TAE50211 Diploma of Training Design and Development or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development or its successor or A higher level qualification in adult education.
- Knowledge and experience in working with RTO’s and VET Quality Framework.
- Comprehensive understanding of Standards of RTOs 2015.
- Proficient in MS Office instructional software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time efficiently.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Highly Desirable
- At least 2 years working within a Registered Training Organisation.
- Experience working with the TAE Training Package.
- Experience within eLearning framework.
- Experienced in LMS.
