About the Role
The Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Partner is accountable to the Human Resources Manager and holds a pivotal position in formulating and executing strategies and initiatives to attract, engage, identify, and retain talent within CatholicCare. The role has two major focus areas:
- Developing and maintaining best practice talent management and Recruitment strategies and processes; and
- Maintaining, implementing, evaluating and reporting on CatholicCare’s recruitment campaigns and activities and reflect same in the Recruitment procedure.
Operating within a corporate framework, the role will primarily partner with line managers to oversee the end to end recruitment process to fill vacant roles across the Diocese, encompassing tasks such as assisting with the development and maintenance of position descriptions, composing job advertisements, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, formulating interview inquiries, conducting interviews, verifying references and relevant security clearances, and adhering to the Remuneration Framework Procedure to ensure appropriate compensation. Additionally, they will extend verbal offers to successful candidates and generate employment contracts utilizing the corporate Human Resources system.
Moreover, the incumbent will ensure seamless onboarding for all new hires, including facilitating corporate inductions where required. Additionally, the role will provide support to HR Partners (HRP) as required.
What We're Looking For:
- Relevant Human Resources tertiary qualification; or
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition and Recruitment role or other applicable experience; and
- Current Driver’s license (QLD).
In addition to the above, you will need to demonstrate:
- High level of knowledge and application of Talent Acquisition and Recruitment strategies and initiatives;
- Substantial experience in applying best practice recruitment principles and processes in a similar business setting;
- Substantial practical experience in developing effective working relationships, collaborations and partnerships with leaders across the business;
- Demonstrated experience in innovative and creative thinking to develop a talent pipeline that supports CatholicCare’s future people needs;
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously to achieve team and organisational goals whilst being part of a diverse team;
- Ability to prioritise workload and deliver to timeframes whilst working in a complex environment with a large volume of tasks;
- Demonstrated application of well-developed administration skills and a high attention to detail;
- Intermediate level of the MS Office suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; and
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) in problem solving and negotiation.
