About The Business: This local government council is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Officer. This is a 6-month contract position to support the Talent Acquisition team in managing a variety of recruitment activities. Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to provide administrative support in recruitment processes.
Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and organisational policies.
Handle job postings on various platforms to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
Assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating recruitment events.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
Contribute to the development and improvement of recruitment processes.
Note: This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
Previous experience in Talent Acquisition, recruitment administration, or a similar role.
Understanding of recruitment pace and experience in high-volume recruitment activities.
Familiarity with MSP (Managed Service Provider) or government recruitment functions is highly desirable.
Strong technical understanding of platforms such as SEEK & Linkedin Recruiter
Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Must be comfortable working in a manual environment
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in recruitment or HR administration.
