YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting 12 Month fixed-term contract opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team in February or March! We are looking for someone who is passionate about hiring the very best talent and providing a stellar TA experience for everyone involved!

This varied, hands-on and high-volume role will see you partnering with your own portfolio of hiring managers, crafting clever and creative job ads, maintaining our recruitment platform (LiveHire), proactively sourcing candidates and developing our Hiring Manager capability.

You will also get to support a variety of activities and projects related to company-wide recruitment training, ATS optimisations, EVP/employer branding as well a range of process improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOUR NEW ROLE ENTAILS

We are a ‘leader led’ business and TA is no different. You will make an impact by:

  • Delivering hands-on, proactive, customer-centric and data-driven TA outcomes
  • Leading, coaching and developing your geographically-dispersed hiring teams to recruit the best
  • Living and breathing Blackwood’s EVP and crafting inspiring and engaging job advertisements
  • Using your knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and Seek Talent Search to source our future talent
  • Screening candidates, creating shortlists/talent pools and ensuring LiveHire is always up-to-date
  • Being across labour market/hiring trends and conducting market research as and when needed
  • Supporting with phone screens and interviews to ensure excellent hiring outcomes
  • Being 100% committed to your personal safety and of the team around you

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

You will be customer and solutions-focused to support our Customer First philosophy. We are also looking for:

  • Experience in fast-paced, high-volume recruitment across different levels of the organisation
  • Self-motivation, teamwork and the ability to prioritise and manage time and work efficiently
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders across all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and exceptional attention-to-detail and administration
  • Experience with LiveHire, Indigenous employment, proactive sourcing, talent pooling, recruitment drives, careers events is advantageous
  • Experience supporting or leading TA projects related to recruitment training, ATS optimisations, EVP/employer branding and process improvement is also desirable
