THE TEAMJoining the People & Culture Manager, Advisor and Admin you will be the sole person responsible for attracting, recruiting, onboarding and offboarding talent for Greenpeace Australia Pacific.
THE ROLE
This position is dedicated to implementing a best in class Recruitment, Onboarding and Offboarding Program and fostering a thriving workplace culture focused on impact. The Talent Acquisition candidate will be a specialist in Job Boards, Applicant Tracking Systems, development of the Employer Brand, Employee Value Proposition, Recruitment processes and policy, hiring best practices, employee contracts, diversity in recruitment, legal compliance, and other related areas.
In addition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is a key member of the People and Culture Team, actively contributing to uniting Greenpeace employees around our culture, goals, and performance expectations.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATEThis role requires a high level of resilience, attention to detail, communication skills and ability to prioritise many different roles and hiring manager needs at once. Relationship skills are imperative as fostering good working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders is the key to success in this position.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (or relevant other field/relevant HR experience);
- High level of knowledge and understanding of Australian Employment law as it pertains to recruitment and employment contracts;
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of Talent Acquisition techniques and strategies;
- Understanding of equity and inclusion principles;
- Familiar with immigration requirements relating to employment visas;
- High level written and verbal communication;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Applicant-tracking and HRMS/payroll systems;
- Proficiency in using a range of job platforms;
- Experience in a high-volume, stand-alone Recruitment role;
- Elmo experience is highly desirable.

Annual full-time salary: $91,080.39 + 11% superannuation per annum.
