About the role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) Advisor to join our Head Office team in Ulverstone. This role has a Generalist HR focus managing all aspects of HR recruitment and selection, on-boarding, contract management, learning and development, payroll support, performance management and worker’s compensation.
The HR Advisor will work closely within a small Human Resources team and will provide advice, support and coaching to Directors, Coordinators and employees to ensure a strategic, proactive and supportive organisational-wide approach to staff attraction, retention and future growth.
You must have:
- Vocational or Tertiary Qualification relevant to Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field with several years of subsequent relevant experience in a generalist HR role
- Extensive experience in the performance management process
- A sound knowledge of relevant employee legislation
- A passion for people and culture and desire to improve the employee lifecycle
- Current Driver’s License and willingness to travel within the state and interstate as required
- Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration – or willingness to obtain
