About the Role:
Primo Foods are currently recruiting an experienced and passionate Talent & Community Engagement Specialist to join the team in a newly created role.
Based at our Wacol site and reporting to the QLD HR Manager, this role will be responsible for the engagement of all available mediums to attract and retain new team members, with a focus on our factory and DC team members. This role is pivotal in raising awareness and building ongoing relationships for Primo amongst our local and state communities.
Your key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Local area and community connection including any relevant social channels such as billboards, panels on store fronts, Facebook, LinkedIn & Instagram
- Advertise and promote Primo and JBS at centres of worship or congregation of the nationalities
- Develop relationships with local education and Job Active providers
- Develop relevant digital marketing campaigns targeting local areas
- Coordinating and attending education field days, school expos and/or careers days and relevant careers fairs
- Pop up stalls at local markets and shopping centres, branded community and charity work
- Establishing relevant celebration days for the blue-collar wages' teams (e.g. national R U OK Day)
- Engagement of relevant sporting clubs and/or other relevant associations
- End to end ownership of recruitment (selection, placement and onboarding)
- Ability to understand operational environment and tasks to support high quality placements
- Identification of recruitment and onboarding improvement opportunities
- Talent and capability related projects
- Previous experience in a similar role and/or strong knowledge of Primo's operations
- High degree of proactivity and ownership of tasks
- Demonstrated collaboration and project management skills to deliver community or talent-based projects
- Previous experience with employment providers
- Knowledge of a second language highly advantageous
- Strong communication skills with previous experience supporting people where English is a second language
- Relationship focused
- Ability to prioritise tasks and be able to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously
- Approachable and enthusiastic
- Understanding the impact of decision making on the business
- Must hold a current full driver's license
