Brisbane Catholic Education is a leading education services provider committed to ensuring the safeguarding of our students. We're passionate about creating a supportive environment for both educators and learners, and we're seeking a detail-oriented Talent Operations Coordinator to help us build and maintain a strong pool of pre-approved relief teachers to support schools. You'll work closely with a small project team to oversee the development and management of a talent pool comprising relief teachers. Your primary focus will be onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with safeguarding measures and legislative requirements. You'll play a pivotal role in scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and maintaining accurate records to facilitate a seamless experience for relief teachers and schools within the BCE network.
About the role:
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for relief teachers, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and legislative standards.
- Schedule interviews, conduct background checks, and maintain accurate records of relief teachers.
- Input data and information to maintain a current database of available relief teachers.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, planning, and organising activities.
- Respond to inquiries, offering guidance and solutions to resolve issues promptly.
- Interpret policies and procedures, ensuring compliance while resolving issues efficiently and applying policy guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritise tasks and achieve desired outcomes.
About you: To be successful in this role you will demonstrate
- Certificate level qualifications in a relevant field or previous similar experience.
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in the HR, education or talent management.
- Strong organisational, time management and problem solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with database management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
