JBS Carriers, the transportation arm of JBS Australia, supports JBS operations through an efficient logistical structure that optimizes everything from the selection of cattle at supplying units to the distribution of products throughout Australia, as well as the transport of containers to ports for export.
JBS Carriers adopts methods aimed at guaranteeing the safety and preservation of cattle quality during transport and preserving the characteristics of end products at the moment of distribution, transporting each of the products of our mix in modern vehicles that provide adequate temperature conditions. JBS Carriers also develops cost control and economy-of-scale mechanisms to optimize operational efficiencies.
About the Role
The JBS Carriers team are currently seeking local and experienced Tanker and Tipper drivers for both day shift and afternoon shift.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Safe and timely transportation of products to and from JBS sites
- Completing daily pre-start checks on vehicles before operating
- Ensuring compliance with all Road Transport Requirements and NHVR
- Complying with all aspects of laws related to the Chain of Responsibility
- Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety Requirements
- Working effectively as part of a team to accomplish tasks and manage workloads
About You
- Current MC Driver’s License
- Tanker or Tipper experience
- Sound traffic history report
- Have a natural customer service focus
- Have a can-do attitude
- Experience/Ticket Loader
