Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Accountant at a Private Accounting Firm located only 5 minutes from West Ryde Station, Sydney, NSW. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and completing tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, conducting tax research, and providing tax planning advice as well as managerial duties.
Requirements:
- Must have experience in preparing Financials & Tax Returns for at least 3 years in a Public Practice (including Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Super Funds, Sole Traders and Individual tax returns)
- Must have experience in preparing BAS's and IAS's
- Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and develop and manage effective client relationships.
- Shouldbe familiar withXero Tax, MYOB, QB & Xero software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
- Knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations is a must
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards
This is an on-site role; No agencies, please. Not interested in outsourcing companies. Salaries are based on experience.
