SalarySmall accounting practice in Cheltenham looking for an experienced Tax Accountant with a minimum of 5 years working in public practice.
Hours: 15 hrs per week - flexible hours, with possibility for more days in the future.
Prefer experience with Xero and BGL and local to work place.
We are a small, happy team where everyone shares responsibilities from daily admin tasks to tax preparation, so must be willing to work on all aspects of the business.
The tasks will be varied and will include but not be limited to:
- Bookkeeping, payroll & BAS (minimal)
- ASIC compliance
- Business registrations
- Financial statements
- Tax preparation for Companies, trusts, individuals & SMSF's
- Liaising with ATO & clients
- Share admin duties
Good communication and people skills, with an eye for detail and tech savvy would be considered favourably. Ideal candidate will embrace the role and responsibilities, be proactive with tasks, and make a real contribution to enhance the business and improve processes to provide an excellent service to clients, and hopefully enjoy the role too.
Pleasant office environment with option to work from home 50% of the time.
