Due to an internal secondment, we are looking for a collaborative and Tax-obsessed individual to join our close-knit team as a Senior Tax Analyst. Enjoy a mix of consulting activities for the Bega Group and compliance duties, including completion of tax forecasts, tax compliance, both direct and indirect taxes, maintenance of accurate records and provision of advice to management on related matters.
Please note this is a 12-month maximum term contract.
Responsibilities
- Support the Group Tax Team by preparing and reviewing tax-effect accounting calculations for various entities within the Group. These calculations are crucial for both statutory and internal reporting purposes.
- Navigate complex tax regulations and optimise our position by diving into Corporate Income Tax, FBT, and GST matters. Ensure all required taxation returns are prepared in compliance with various tax regulations and ensuring adequate provisions are made for payments of taxes.
- Ensure all required taxation returns are meticulously prepared, adhering to legal requirements and provisions for tax payments and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in implementing transfer pricing arrangements and prepare comprehensive documentation, including Country-by-Country Reporting obligations.
- Analyse current processes, identify process improvements to drive and implement solutions to enhance efficiencies and effectiveness.
About you
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Law.
- CA / CPA or Master in Tax
- You have a solid background in taxation and experience in a similar role, preferably in a complex, large organisation.
- Advanced Excel skills and a background in working within different ERPs will set you up for success in this role.
- Ability to work within a collaborative team as well as autonomously.
