Position Summary & Purpose:
The position is a hands on role and will be working on a diverse range of direct and indirect taxation matters for the Kin Power Group, including Income Tax, GST, FBT, Payroll Tax and R&D. Additionally, assisting in other ad-hoc projects as directed by the Tax Manager to continually support the business and foster long-term business partnering to create value.
Key Responsibilities:
The Tax Consultant will be responsible for managing the following key areas, with specific duties stemming from each.
- Income Tax
- GST Compliance
- Fringe Benefits Tax
- Research and Development Tax Incentive
- Payroll Tax
- Treasury
- Significant direct and indirect taxation experience in income tax, FBT, and Payroll Tax.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent analytical and time management skills.
- Excellent research Skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excel proficiency.
- Knowledge of Microsoft D365 preferred.
- CA/CPA qualified
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role preferably within a professional services environment.
- Proactive and self-managed.
