You will provide specialist R&D Tax Advisory services to companies in the technology, manufacturing, agriculture, biotech, and engineering sectors.
What will your typical week look like?
- Gathering meaningful information on client projects by building client relationships and asking thoughtful, enquiring questions
- Project managing the R&D application process to ensure timely lodgement
- Preparing R&D applications, project descriptions and R&D expenditure calculations
- Applying the R&D legislation to the specific technical and expenditure aspects of the project
- Providing guidance in relation to R&D governance and recordkeeping requirements
- Assisting with reviews or audits by the relevant program regulators

- A positive team player with excellent communication skills and who can support, coach and mentor team members
- An understanding of challenges faced by industry professionals, such as engineering design, the development or improvement of manufacturing products, processes, or software.
- Strong work ethic to complete quality work on time, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong technical report writing skills and familiar with company financial information
- Qualifications: Commerce, Science, Engineering, Software, Technology or a degree in a related field.
- R&D tax incentive or grant writing experience
