About the Role
This is a newly created national role that will sit within their Tax and Private Advisory team. The successful applicant will manage and oversea the delivery of technical training to the wider teams across the country, to ensure that the learning content is relevant, fit for purpose and up to date to foster a culture of client excellence. The position will suit someone from an accounting background (Tax and Advisory), that is looking to transition away from a client facing role, where they can leverage their passion and interest into Learning & Development.
What You’ll be Doing
- Working closely with senior leaders across accounting service lines, L&D, and other subject matter experts to coordinate delivery of timely and relevant training programs, addressing Tax and Advisory technical training needs by level and industry
- Manage national technical training schedule and L&D Budget, ensuring training is appropriately delivered and received by relevant stakeholders and providing regular updates on capability uplift and expense tracking
- Curate and manage a knowledge library to ensure easy access to contemporary training tools for national team members
- Lead national training projects as required, preparing ad hoc project / business initiative reports and status updates.
- Significant accounting experience, including working knowledge of the Australian taxation regime
- Experience (or demonstrated interest in) managing a holistic technical development program
- Ability to critically analyse technical materials and programs and conduct gap analyses to align with technical competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with key stakeholders on training needs.
