About The Role
- You will be responsible for all taxation management activities, ensuring full tax compliance with legislative reporting obligations for all legal entities in Australia and New Zealand.
- Manage international taxes such as withholding tax treaty applications and transfer pricing with regional/ global tax team;
- Develop and maintain tax risk management framework and testing of controls. Supervise and manage tax assessment.
- Treasury Management - responsible for banking, FX, financial market activities, forecasting cash payments, addressing any related cash flow issues, assist Company financial decision making, liaise with other business units on treasury matters.
- Holding and statutory reporting - assist FC managing statutory accounts and Financial Statement reporting in accordance with IFRS when required.
- Project delivery - lead and support local and regional projects when required.
- Partner with GFSS teams to improve tax governance and minimize transactional risks
- Liaison with external parties on tax adherence and compliance
- Team Management - maintain a highly engaged, high performing team. Actively support individual professional development. Complete all required yearly HR requirements, staff development and succession planning.
- Work with Financial Controller, supervising and guiding team members
Who You Are
- As an experienced Tax & Treasury Manager, you will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role.
- A background working within Consumer Goods, FMCG, Manufacturing sector ideal.
