Taxation Accountant

United Business Services Pty Ltd is a fast growing accounting practice. We are looking for a qualified accountant to join our team. If you are looking for a challenge, then this role would be ideal for you.

The successful candidates will have previous experience, excellent time & task management abilities, high attention to detail, knowledge of accounting standards, good communication skills and a recognized accounting degree. 

Criteria

• Accounting qualification Degree qualified , CA or CPA qualified or studying towards it.
• Minimum 3 year experience as an accountant in a chartered firm.
• Experience in financial statements & company tax return preparation
• Experience in taxation statutory legislation and regulations.
• Extensive knowledge of Xero and Excel
• Possess strong collaborative, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Proven analytical ability that delivers solution-based outcomes.
• A high level of attention to detail

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of Financial Statements, Tax Returns for Companies, Individuals, Trusts, Partnerships and SMSF's
• Provide a range of consulting, business advisory, tax planning and tax compliance services
• Preparation of IAS and BAS returns
• Assistance with client contact and meetings
• Create rapport to manage own client base
• Liaise with third parties in a professional manner
• Ongoing training and progression within the firm

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation
