A great opportunity has risen for an Intermediate Accountant to join our team. Onward Accounting and Taxation Pty Ltd is a medium size CPA firm in the Sydney (CBD) looking for the right candidate.

Duties in the role:
• Completing income tax returns and bookkeeping for individuals, partnerships, companies,trusts and SMSF.
• Completing and lodging BAS and IAS
• Prepare financial statements
• Prepare Payroll and Single touch payroll lodgements
• Perform trust account and financial statement audits
• Liaise with the ATO and ASIC on behalf of clients
• Ability to multi-task jobs
Ideally the successful candidate will have:
• 2 years experience with an accounting practice
• Solid understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
• Australian or Overseas Accounting Degree
• Strong written and verbal English skills, the ability to speak Chinese is an advantage
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• To produce result with minimal supervision
• MYOB, MYOB AO and Xero experience is preferable
