About the School:
Ripley Central State School is situated in Ipswich, west of Brisbane. We are a new school which opened at the beginning of the 2023 school year. Our school caters for all learners across Prep to Year 6 and will be delivered in a two stage build, eventually catering for approximately 1200 students.

About the Role
We are seeking a Teacher Aide to support students across all year levels from Monday through Friday for 3 hrs 45 mins (inc SJM hours) every morning.
As the Teacher Aide, you will contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities. Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following skills and experience and be able to:
- Provide specific literacy and numeracy support for individual and small groups of students
- Provide in-class support for students with complex specialised learning & behavioural needs as directed by the classroom teacher or inclusion teacher
- Display respect and empathy for students with high level needs
- Display confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitivity to students and their families
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Show an ability to work within a team and independently
