Atwell College is seeking a dedicated, highly competent and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join our innovative team. This position has a focus on Woodwork and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Atwell College is a modern and progressive government secondary school in the suburb of Atwell, south of the Perth metropolitan area. The College has grown with the area and now accommodates approximately 1000 students from within the Atwell College intake area. Aligned with the Strategic Improvement Plan, applicants will have strong knowledge and experience of high impact teaching and learning strategies within the context of a positive learning environment. They will demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and have the capacity to teach across all years to ensure students achieve strong academic and personal growth.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;

- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check;
