Comet Bay College is seeking to appoint a qualified passionate and committed Design and Technology Teacher to a full time position beginning Term 3, 2024.The successful applicant will ideally have experience in teaching a range of Design Technologies contexts. As a college we strive to ensure our students seek excellence and this experience in teaching Western Australian Curriculum and Senior School Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) Technologies courses is vital in helping our students achieve outstanding results. At Comet Bay College, we strive for excellence by nurturing individual abilities, providing meaningful opportunities and fostering positive respectful relationships.The successful applicant will also be given the opportunity to work across Years 7 to 12 and bring their expertise to the Learning Area. The ideal applicant would apply their knowledge of the Design and Technology Courses, particularly at least one of Metal, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive or Electronics.Comet Bay College has a genuine and proven commitment to support the professional growth of our teachers. Each staff member has the opportunity to join the Advanced Instructional Intelligence Program (AIIP) and be provided with five days of professional learning to build teachers capacity in the classroom.
