Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, you'll provide commercially focused, customer centric legal advice and guidance to The Lottery Corporation. This is an 18-month max-term position to cover a period of parental leave.

What you'll do

  • Partner with the wider legal team to provide legal advice and guidance to enable the business to make informed decisions
  • Proactively identify legal issues and risks, as well as working closely with the wider business to develop commercial solutions to maintain risk
  • Support the management and engagement of external Legal Counsel
  • Develop and deliver tailored training programs to business stakeholders

What you'll bring

  • Degree qualified in Law
  • Admitted as a solicitor in Queensland or New South Wales
  • Experience advising clients who operate in a complex regulatory environment is highly regarded
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly regarded - Competition and consumer law
    • Franchising
    • Contracts and commercial
    • Privacy
    • Intellectual property
