Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, you'll provide commercially focused, customer centric legal advice and guidance to The Lottery Corporation. This is an 18-month max-term position to cover a period of parental leave.
What you'll do
- Partner with the wider legal team to provide legal advice and guidance to enable the business to make informed decisions
- Proactively identify legal issues and risks, as well as working closely with the wider business to develop commercial solutions to maintain risk
- Support the management and engagement of external Legal Counsel
- Develop and deliver tailored training programs to business stakeholders
What you'll bring
- Degree qualified in Law
- Admitted as a solicitor in Queensland or New South Wales
- Experience advising clients who operate in a complex regulatory environment is highly regarded
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly regarded - Competition and consumer law
- Franchising
- Contracts and commercial
- Privacy
- Intellectual property
